Welcome to Bakes by Barnes

Hi! I’m Jennifer, the heart (and hands!) behind Bakes by Barnes. As a busy mom of four, caretaker, and teacher, I have discovered a beautiful joy and peace in baking. My sourdough loaves are made the old-fashioned way; slow, simple, and with love in every step. Sharing my bread and cookies with the community has been such a gift, and I’m thrilled to have you here to be part of it.

So, how does it work?

Orders can be placed on the website for pickup (note the pickup day listed when placing your order). If you have a preferred time to grab your order on pickup day, please send me a message! I typically leave pickups open from 8am-4pm, but if you need earlier or later, let me know. I will do my best to accommodate you!

Cash, Venmo and Zelle are accepted, and you can pay upon pickup. There are QR codes posted in the stand for easy scanning, and a cash box on the left side. Alternatively, you can Venmo or Zelle ahead of time; whatever works best for you!

On certain days (working on a set schedule, but for now, every Saturday), the cart is rolled out for a first-come, first-served sale. Ordering ahead of time is the best way to secure your goodies, as I have sold out during my previous sales.
